Always a representation.
Laigacy is built around human dignity and source transparency. It does not claim to recreate consciousness or continue a person’s life.
The speaking digital self
The intended experience uses an authorized synthetic voice and facial likeness, grounded in the person’s documented memories. It will always be identified as AI-generated. Provider accounts, verification, consent, live testing, latency measurement, and quality evaluation are still required before the audiovisual alpha can be demonstrated.
Recorded, reconstructed, or unknown
The product is being designed to distinguish original recordings and documented statements from generated interpretations. An unknown personal fact should remain unknown. A generated statement must never be presented as an authentic quotation without evidence.
Illustrations on this website
The family portrait is AI-generated illustrative brand imagery. The daughter-and-father conversation is a fictional example of a possible future interaction. The audiovisual panel illustrates an interface direction; it is not a working video call.
Future capabilities
Posthumous access, advanced expression personalization, AR/VR, and physical embodiment are roadmap subjects. No robotic device is connected, no automatic posthumous access is enabled, and no claim of fidelity improvement is made without testing.
